Certified Database Administrator Program

Over the years, there has been a need to identify individuals who are qualified to design databases for customers.  With the tremendous demand for databases written in a Windows environment,  Macon Systems has developed this certification program help identify and cultivate these people.

The future looks bright for ADBM database administrators. Demand for DBAs is high, and positions are plentiful. Such a positive picture might make you ask, "Why did Macon Systems, Inc. create a certification program? And why should I get certified?"

The answer is simple: to provide value to the bottom line. Certification gives you, as a DBA, a demonstrated and qualified level of expertise. And it helps your company select and keep the most-skilled administrators. Studies show that companies that advocate certification for their technical professionals provide improved service to their customers, experience less system downtime, and benefit from increased worker productivity. Certification additionally provides a defined standard that helps managers identify talent and gives experienced DBAs leverage for new opportunities and promotion within an organization.

The Certified Database Administrator Program is a method of testing technical professionals to measure their knowledge of ADBM.  You are not required to take any courses or receive any special training before testing for ADBM certification.

The certification test is based on skills used to develop a relational database from the ground up using Advanced DB Master.  Skills include:
